You can personalize the Ribbon and toolbars in Office just the way you like them, showing frequently used commands and hiding the ones you rarely use. You can change default tabs, or create custom tabs and custom groups to contain your frequently used commands.

Restore Toolbar On Mac

1. To customize the Ribbon, open or create a Word, Excel, or PowerPoint document.

3. On the Ribbon tab window, select the commands you want to add or remove from your Ribbon and click the add or remove arrows.

   Snipping tool is such a lightweight program, which is hard to find on other OS. You can use the snipping tool similar feature in Google Chrome OS or Chromebook without any 3rd party tools. Excel Missing Toolbars

In Excel, using Mac OS10, drawing toolbar has the check next to it, suggesting it's active; I can't see it; I've moved existing toolbars around; restarted computer; somehow I saw it move out to the side of the screen never to return. Evidently, it appears as an icon on one of the other toolbars; however, whenever I click on it, it shoots out to the side off the screen; when I click on it again to close it, it swoops back into the icon. Where is it going when I try to open it? How to get it back as a toolbar on the screen so I can use it? In MS Word, it works fine, so I feel it is an Excel puzzle.
